Learning Track 3
Personal Development

Part 1: Applied Emotional Intelligence
This 60-minute talk looks at how emotional intelligence, applied in practical ways, can help regulatory and service delivery officers handle workplace pressures more effectively. Across three areas, participants will explore how self-awareness can support composure under pressure, how self-regulation leads to clearer decision-making in challenging moments, and how empathy can help lower tension and strengthen relationships with clients, employers, and stakeholders. The session draws on scenarios familiar to enforcement and service delivery contexts, helping officers translate emotional intelligence into everyday practice.
