You are the Most Important Asset: Owning Your Career in Skills-First World

In a world where job roles and tasks are evolving faster than ever, qualifications alone can no longer define your readiness or potential. The question is: how do you stay relevant, adaptable and in control of your own career?
Drawing on IAL and Centre for Skills-First Practices research, Dr Gog will make the case for why each of us needs to move from a skills-based to a skills-first approach — where demonstrated competency, not credentials, becomes the currency of opportunity. She will address what this shift demands of you as an individual taking ownership of your career health, and of organisations in how they invest in their people's skills and growth.
